How Our Technology Works
Our cooling technology uses Phase Change Materials (PCM) as a refrigerant, eliminating the need for harmful greenhouse gases and preventing leaks with high global warming potential.
The process begins with hydraulic compression, forcing the PCM to undergo a phase change. Through a system of valves, pressure differences generate large temperature variations, leveraging the high thermal capacity of these materials.
The result is a highly efficient, energy-dense system that requires minimal space while delivering powerful cooling.
Humboldt Blue can be implemented with a flexible architecture depending on system requirements: hybrid, standalone, or cascade (multiple phase-change materials).
